There are three common and key factors that are present in communities of people who are vulnerable to exploitation:
few employment opportunities,
a lack of education
a worldview of desperation.
We aim to change this.
Around the world, we focus on the root causes of poverty and exploitation, then shape our efforts to create opportunities to realize different futures for those who are vulnerable.
Trips
Come with us on the experience of a lifetime. Learn about culture and history, taste great food, meet amazing locals and see our projects. In the places DF works, tourism is vital to provide jobs and create opportunities for development.
Scholorships
To keep children in school, DF offers scholarships to cover the costs of uniforms, tuitions, school fees, and lunches. Children who are members of vulnerable families – refugees, lower income families, gypsies - need to establish a trail of documentation, register for school and step into their future.

When we learn about exploitation of those who are most vulnerable and the often inevitable path that is before them, we ask the questions often and regularly, “What if we could prevent this from happening in the first place? What action could we take today that would protect tomorrow for the next generation?
